PowerHouse is an original blues and rock act based in Colorado, co-fronted by guitarists and vocalists Geoff Meyer and Joe Bear.
Geoff's career spans decades and contexts — he's shared stages and studios with Albert King, Joe Cocker, Delbert McClinton, and a long list of others. He's the kind of musician other musicians notice. Joe fronts Stevie Rave On and Second Coming, the Rocky Mountain Region's premier tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan, and brings that same guitar-forward intensity to PowerHouse.
The band's roots go back to the 1990s, when Geoff Meyer, Ward Harston, and Joe Bear built the original PowerHouse into a fixture on the regional circuit. They earned radio airplay across Colorado and opened for national acts including Blues Traveler, 38 Special, and Leon Russell, among others — the kind of run that leaves a mark on a scene.
The current PowerHouse brings Geoff together with the core ensemble behind Stevie Rave On. Add a horn section, and the result is original blues and rock with real range: grit, swing, and enough firepower to fill a theater.
PowerHouse returned to the stage in March 2026 with a full one-hour set at the Rialto Theater in Loveland, CO.
