  • Back on Stage – March 2026

    March 21, 2026 - Rialto Theater, Loveland CO

    PowerHouse returned to the stage for a full one-hour headline set at the Rialto Theater in downtown Loveland. The current lineup - co-fronts Geoff Meyer and Joe Bear both on vocals and guitar, joined by the core ensemble and a horn section - picked up where the original band left off.

  • Learning to walk again

    This has been a long time coming. Just a quick update on band status. Incidentally, this is Joe typing.

    Back in the late 80s and early 90s, I was a member of this PowerHouse Blues Band. It was a great growth experience. We played, wrote, recorded, opened shows for national acts, and generally had a great time.

    Since then, the various members of PowerHouse went their own ways. I went through a succession of musical endeavors. Some with some lasting accomplishments, others more ephemeral.

    As of late, I have reconnected with our titular ringleader Geoff. We’ve been meeting regularly to write and record new songs.

    Now we have embarked on some live work. (Watch this space for announcements).

    Alongside this, we’re gearing up to re-release some of our older material. Again, watch this space…
